Chamber Holiday Party − Join your fellow
Chamber members at Trattoria Simpatico
for our annual holiday party. Tickets are $35 per person and include dinner, dessert
& music by Dave Manuel. Cash bar. Party starts at 6 pm with dinner at 7 pm.

Downtown Open House − Shops along Narragansett
Avenue & at East Ferry will have treats to make your shopping more festive and
to get you into the holiday spirit.
CIAA Annual Holiday Craft Show −
Island artisans & craftspeople will showcase their works with items for sale
for your holiday gift giving. Melrose Avenue School, 76 Melrose Avenue, 9 am to 4 pm.
Santa Arrives − Watch Santa arrive by boat at East Ferry & follow
him up Narragansett Avenue to Conanicut Marine Ship’s Store, 20 Narragansett Avenue
to have your free picture taken with Santa. Santa arrives at 1 pm. Pictures from 1:15
to 3 pm. Sponsored by

Sunday, December 7
The Polar Express − Take a magical trolley ride through Jamestown
while singing carols and listening to a
reading of Chris van Allsburg’s “The Polar Express”. Make
a final stop at Jamestown’s very own “North Pole” to see Santa.
Pajamas are encouraged!
Trolley departs from East Ferry at 11 am, 12 noon, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm and 4 pm.

Tickets are $5 per person and may be purchased at Baker’s
Pharmacy, 53 Narragansett Avenue. Phone orders will not be accepted. Limit

Sunday, December 14
Teddy Bear Tea − Children ages 5 & up are invited to bring
their favorite teddy bear or doll for an elegant afternoon of cocoa and cookies
at Trattoria Simpatico.
Seatings at 1 pm and 3 pm. Santa will stop by to hear what you would like for
Christmas. Sponsored by Brockmann &

Sunday, December 21
Holiday Dog Parade − Join Jamestown’s furry friends
as they parade down Narragansett Avenue in their holiday finery. Registration
begins at 12 noon at the Fire Station, 50 Narragansett Avenue. Suggested
donation is $10 for first dog and $5 for additional dogs. Proceeds will be
used to spay/neuter stray cats, and to benefit the Senior Pet Fund. Free photos
with Santa after the parade at the Jamestown Recreation Center, 41 Conanicus
Avenue from 1:45 pm to 3 pm. The Jamestown Teen Center will be selling pet treats
and gifts to benefit the Teen Center. Sponsored by Paws & Claws, 423−9677.
