Visitors and residents alike enjoy Jamestown’s many annual events including a variety of art and craft shows and a sailboat race where the sailors have to construct their own boat on the beach and sail it, all within 4 hours.

Build a sailboat on the beach and sail it downwind to win!
A Night at the _____ (August)
Once a year the Jamestown Chamber of Commerce holds a dinner dance at a famous Jamestown site such as the Beavertail Lighthouse, Fort Getty or Watson’s Farm.
Paddle the Bay(August)
Kayak race, 15 mile course around the island.
